Scott, PhD., LPC, NCC is the Executive Clinical Director and Founder of Basic Bliss Life Coaching and Counseling, where she provides clinical leadership, supervision, and program oversight, while maintaining a limited caseload. In addition, Dr. Scott is an adjunct faculty member in Psychology whose work focuses on trauma and community mental health.

Dr. Scott’s professional and scholarly interests center on trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and holistic approaches to mental health care that attend to the interaction of psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being. Her work is grounded in health psychology and trauma-informed practice.

Her doctoral research examined the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and fibromyalgia symptom severity, including the moderating role of attachment to God.
